Video Transcript for Review of M-3 and Associates Trailer Ramp Springs - Single Ramp Spring - M358FR

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Conventional Ramp Door Spring for five and a half foot wide enclosed trailer doors. Now folks, this is considered a single spring, and it's rated for 120 pound capacity. So with this spring system, you're gonna be able to effortlessly lift or lower those trailer doors without having to worry about injuries or risk. Now, this is adjustable to fit between 38 to 69 inch wide doors, meaning you can cut the bar down to fit whatever you need by simply cutting it down.

All the instructions you're gonna do that. This is made of a sturdy steel construction. Obviously you have the whole spring here, the two safety cables, the hardware, and the two main brackets and everything here. Those will go around the bar, and then of course you have this safety. Once everything is tightened up to warn people, "Hey, you know, don't take that off or remove unless you know what you're doing.

So sliding this over, you'll get a better view of that whole tightening mechanism. And if you're not familiar with these, you basically have to put a bar in here, spin this to set the tension one way or another. Again, it's a very dangerous thing. Make sure you know what you're doing if you're gonna tackle that yourself. Otherwise, I recommend finding a local garage door specialists in your area maybe that can do that for you.

Those cable lengths are 150 inches long, and again, everything is here that you need to do your install. That's gonna wrap it up for a quick look together, folks. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.

Hey Cyndi! Are you asking if you can use the Caliber EdgeGlide 2.0 Transition Plate for Enclosed Trailers # CA47EJ between the door and the floor of the trailer? You certainly can! Both of those locations are acceptable for installation/use. I attached some photos below showing the transition plate installed at either end of the ramp door. Are you using these for a snowmobile or something else?
